It's a safe space for people from all walks of life to have a yarn, embrace mateship, and combine their skills to create something meaningful for the broader community.

As Australia's first choice in sheds & more, it's no surprise we have a long history in the industry. Originally forged as AG&S over 30 years ago in 1990, the business began as a small family owned business based out of rural Camden in New South Wales.
As they say, the rest is history:
1990: AG&S began as a family owned and operated business in Camden, NSW.
1992: AG&S went national, establishing a successful network of distributors across the county.
2004: AG&S rebranded to Fair Dinkum Homes & Sheds.
2007: Fair Dinkum Sheds joins the Stramit family of businesses as part of Stramit's evolution as one of the nation's biggest steel roll formers.
2010: Fair Dinkum rebrands again to become Fair Dinkum Sheds.
2010: Fair Dinkum Sheds partners with the Australian Men's Shed Association, providing direct funding to initiatives and discounts to more than 150 local Men's Sheds throughout Australia.
2012: Taurean Door Systems (formerly Stramit Doors) also joins the Stramit portfolio.
2018: Fair Dinkum Shed products begin manufacturing from Stramit's new Knoxfield facility (along with other Stramit sites nationally).
2020: Fair Dinkum Sheds evolves to become Fair Dinkum Builds.
Today, Fair Dinkum Builds is manufactured from Stramit's 16 sites nationally and is distributed via an equally impressive network to homes and businesses across the country.

We don't compromise on safety
Our commitment to safety touches every part of our business.
We design to relevant national and state/territory building codes and ShedSafe requirements, we manufacture and deliver safely, and we encourage our customers to only work with suitably qualified contractors. It's that simple.
Need more assurance? Each and every day, we:
- Design our sheds and patios to the 2019 National Construction Code of Australia, as well as the AS/NZS 4600-2018, AS/NZS 1170.0,.1,2,3,4-2011, AS2870-2011, AS3600-2018 Australian standards
- Use software that has these building codes and standards pre-programmed
- Train our Fair Dinkum Builds experts on compliance and changes to codes/standards
- Enforce strict safety controls on the factory floor and track our safety performance
- Only work with responsible delivery contractors and enforce strict safety requirements
- Encourage shed erectors to follow industry safety guidelines
- Give customers maintenance tips for specific products
- Support our industry to attract responsible, qualified contractors for future customers.
